Wind O&M Coordination

Commissioned wind assets need ongoing turbine servicing, performance monitoring and fault response to keep generating reliably. For owners without an in-house O&M team, we coordinate this on their behalf, working with qualified O&M partners who carry out the physical maintenance work.

What wind O&M covers

Scheduled servicing of drivetrain components such as gearboxes and generators, blade inspection and repair, yaw and pitch system maintenance, electrical and substation maintenance, SCADA monitoring and compliance with grid requirements.

Because turbines are complex rotating machines, fault response times and spares availability have an outsized effect on annual generation.

OEM or independent service provider

Many owners begin with a comprehensive contract from the turbine manufacturer and later evaluate independent service providers as warranties end. Each route has trade-offs in parts access, cost and technical depth.

We help owners compare the options against their specific fleet and then coordinate whichever provider they choose.

What We Do Directly

  • Assessment of an existing wind asset's O&M requirements and current performance
  • Coordination with qualified O&M partners and contract structuring
  • Ongoing point of contact for the owner across the O&M relationship
  • Performance tracking and issue escalation coordination

Delivered Through Qualified Partners

  • Scheduled turbine servicing and preventive maintenance
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Performance monitoring and reporting systems

We coordinate execution through qualified EPC and delivery partners rather than building or manufacturing in-house.

Process

  1. 01Review the asset's current O&M status and performance history
  2. 02Identify gaps and define an O&M scope suited to the project
  3. 03Coordinate qualified O&M partner selection and contracting
  4. 04Set up ongoing performance tracking and reporting
  5. 05Act as an escalation point through the O&M term

Who It's For

  • Owners of commissioned wind projects without an in-house O&M team
  • Investors who have acquired an operating wind asset and need O&M continuity
  • Developers transitioning a wind project from construction to operations

Documents & Inputs Needed

  • Turbine specifications and commissioning details
  • Existing O&M contract, if any, and its expiry
  • Recent performance or generation data, if available

Deliverables

  • O&M requirement assessment
  • Coordination with qualified O&M partners
  • Structured O&M scope and contract support
  • Ongoing coordination point for the owner
