Solar O&M Coordination

A commissioned solar project still needs ongoing operations and maintenance to perform reliably over its working life — module cleaning, inverter monitoring, preventive maintenance and fault response. For owners who don't want to manage multiple vendor relationships directly, we coordinate O&M on their behalf.

This is a coordination role, not in-house maintenance delivery: the physical O&M work is carried out by qualified O&M partners under terms we help structure and track.

Why O&M deserves attention

A solar plant's output depends heavily on what happens after commissioning. Dust and soiling, inverter downtime, vegetation growth, tracker or structure faults and slow fault response all erode generation quietly over time.

Well-structured O&M — with clear scope, response times and reporting — is how an owner protects the performance the project was financed on.

What a typical O&M scope covers

Module cleaning on a schedule suited to local dust and rainfall, preventive maintenance of inverters, transformers and switchgear, corrective maintenance with defined response times, vegetation management, security, spares management, and remote monitoring with regular performance reporting.

Performance is commonly tracked through measures such as plant availability and performance ratio, with targets agreed in the O&M contract.

Our coordination role

We help owners define the scope, select a qualified O&M partner, and then act as the owner's point of contact — tracking reports, following up on issues and escalating where performance falls short. The physical work is carried out by the O&M partner.

What We Do Directly

  • Assessment of an existing project's O&M requirements and current performance
  • Coordination with qualified O&M partners and contract structuring
  • Ongoing point of contact for the owner across the O&M relationship
  • Performance tracking and issue escalation coordination

Delivered Through Qualified Partners

  • Scheduled and preventive maintenance at the project site
  • Module cleaning, inverter servicing and electrical system checks
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Performance monitoring and reporting systems

We coordinate execution through qualified EPC and delivery partners rather than building or manufacturing in-house.

Process

  1. 01Review the project's current O&M status and performance history
  2. 02Identify gaps and define an O&M scope suited to the project
  3. 03Coordinate qualified O&M partner selection and contracting
  4. 04Set up ongoing performance tracking and reporting
  5. 05Act as an escalation point through the O&M term

Who It's For

  • Owners of commissioned utility-scale or C&I solar projects without an in-house O&M team
  • Investors who have acquired an operating project and need O&M continuity
  • Developers transitioning a project from construction to operations

Documents & Inputs Needed

  • Project commissioning details and current capacity
  • Existing O&M contract, if any, and its expiry
  • Recent performance or generation data, if available

Deliverables

  • O&M requirement assessment
  • Coordination with qualified O&M partners
  • Structured O&M scope and contract support
  • Ongoing coordination point for the owner
